Week of football!

Hey sorry i have not posted for a while, i have been really busy. Sinc my last post Swansea and Reading have progressed from the Chamionship play-off semi-finals into the final after two dramatic and tense games! The final looks set to be an awesome one with Swansea looking to be the first Welsh team in the Premier League and Reading hoping for a shock return to the 'big-time'!!

Other big news is that Man City have upped their interest in Ronaldo (apparently) with one source saying that a bid for £150 million is on the table and set to beat Ronaldo's previous transfer record of £85m!! However i still prefer Messi and think Ronaldo would be a waste of time lol

As an Arenal fan i will always mention them, so here we have to talk about Wilshere and whether or not he should play for England U21's??? Personally i think he is the new Xavi and should be given a rest to play for the full squad, however a friend of mine did point out that England have loads of CM's, Lampard, Gerrard, Barry, Parker, Milner, Carrick, Huddlestone (bit crap but still). So do we really need Wilshere for games against teams like Belarus who arent exactly good!

Ok think thats enough from me today! Have a good weekend and hope you watch the final Premier League games tomorrow with two more teams being relegated along with West Ham but five teams could face the drop with Blackburn, Birmingham, Blackpool, Wolves and Wigan all in the danger zone at the bottom!

Fifa 12??

So as we get towards the end of the season, the debate about who will be on the new FIFA game is starting to arise!! Now i know this is exciting but it is being overshadowed by the fact that there will also need to be new commentators for the game, after Andy Gray's blunder. This debate has got a lot of people talking so i want to know who you think will be the next voice of FIFA.

Some suggestions have been Peter Drury, Andy Townsend and Greame Souness!??

Arsenals Kit

Hey thought i would make a quick post about Arsenal's new kit for the 2011/12 season. As i said before i am an Arsenal fan but dont think this will make a difference to our performace somehow!! Here are a few images and a link to the website...

Champions League Update

As you all know Man Utd and Barcelona are going head to head in the Champions League final on May 28th. I reckon this is going to be one of the best games we have seen all season, even after the crazy El Classico's! I want to know who you think are going to win and what the teams will be... will Rooney and Chicarito start or will Berbatov be given the chance? Who knows but one thing we can be sure of is that both managers will have some tricks up their sleeves!

On the topic of the Champions League, yesterday in the Premier League two of the top teams Spurs and Man City fought it out for the final Champions League spot (4th place). Unfortunately for Peter Crouch, who we all love for the robot, scored the only goal of the game but at the wrong end. Now as an Arsenal fan i was pleased with this but i still believe Man City have taken the transfer spending a bit too far now!
